Healthcare Architecture Project Manager

BDG Architects has an immediate need for an Architectural Healthcare Project Manager working from our Mineola, NY office. Candidate must be a 4-year architectural degree graduate with 5+ years of experience (post-graduation) in a commercial architecture office. A minimum of 2 years of solid healthcare architectural project management experience is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of Article 28 in areas such as ambulatory centers, imaging centers, emergency rooms & medical office buildings. Knowledge in other areas as well as industries is a plus. The candidate will need a proven track record in completing full sets of CDs for interior fit outs and ground-up projects as well as managing project schedules, budgets and sub-contractors.

Requirements of Architectural Healthcare Project Manager:

· Minimum 4-year Architectural Degree

· 5 plus years’ experience (post-graduation) in a commercial architecture firm with a focus on healthcare

· Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare project management inclusive of project planning and managing schedules, budgets and sub-contractors

· Through working understanding of Article 28 of the New York Public Health Law

Required Experience for Architectural Healthcare Project Manager:

· Portfolio of ambulatory centers, imaging centers, emergency rooms & medical office buildings; other industries a plus

· Well versed in independently completing full sets of CDs

· Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and establish the appropriate priorities

· Has successfully and independently managed projects including components of large initiatives

· Effectively and efficiently planned and managed client review and update meetings, schematic drawing reviews, bid dates confirmation, engineering consultant progress reviews, issue identification and resolution and client deliverables

Required Technical Skills of Architectural Project Manager:

· AutoCAD – 5 + years’ of consecutive experience

· Revit – working knowledge a plus

· MS Suite - 5 years’ of consecutive experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
