Job Description
PurposePurpose
Support Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in building and sustaining effective behavioral systems to enhance academic and social outcomes for all students.
Expected Outcomes
Develop district and building leadership teams (DLTs and BLTs) to independently sustain SW-PBS within 7 years across three tiers of support.
Key Skills

- Effective communication (in-person and virtual)
- Technology use for training and reporting
Specialized Knowledge
- Behavior analysis, classroom management, and intervention planning
- Missouri SW-PBS methodologies and Virtual Learning Platform (VLP) modules
- Change management, equity, culturally responsive practices
- Familiarity with MTSS, Missouri standards, and SEL frameworks
Program Activities
- Collaborate with DESE and regional consultants
- Provide training and technical assistance across Tier 1, 2, and 3 levels
- Support data collection, analysis, and fidelity of implementation
- Develop in-district coaching capacity and leadership teams
Training Responsibilities
- Deliver tier-specific training (e.g., Big 5 Generator, BIP-IT, ATS)
- Conduct site support (15–20 hours per building)
- Use virtual tools (Zoom, Skype) for coaching and TA
- Guide schools through evaluation tools and action planning
Assessment & Reporting
- Collect and analyze data using tools like TFI, SAS, SET
- Submit monthly logs via DESE systems
- Monitor implementation outcomes and provide feedback
Collaboration & Communication
- Secure partnership agreements
- Mentor new consultants
- Participate in DESE planning and resource development
Travel & Meetings
- Attend statewide trainings and conferences
- Travel within and across RPDC regions as needed
Shift
This position is 100% full-time benefit eligible position-40 hours per week, 12 month appointment.
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
100% remote with substantial travel
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary range: $51,875-$55,000 annually, 100% grant funded
Grade:GGS-010
