Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The technician will work on-site to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems and provide excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Conduct field service operations, including equipment repair and appliance repair.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical for comprehensive service delivery.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or property maintenance.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigeration processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Experience with boiler systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
