Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, with a focus on air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration issues and conduct necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient operations.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction practices and property maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and boiler operations is a plus.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is beneficial.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Previous field service experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.05 - $28.97 per hour
