We are looking for an experienced warehouse/rigger to assist with moving, staging, loading and unloading machinery and fixtures. Other duties include occasional facilities maintenance and housekeeping such as snow removal in the winter and mowing in the summer.
Responsibilities
- Load unload and stage equipment using forklifts with up to 30K capacity for various customers within the Detroit Metropolitan area.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Assist with rigging and operation of overhead crane with 10 ton capacity
- Complete internal warehouse documentation
- Assist with seasonal yard maintenance such as mowing, lot maintenance and snow removal.
- Class B drivers license helpful but not necessary (may sponsor the right individual)
Skills
- Proven work experience
- Hands on experience with forklifts
- ability to operate mowers, snow removal equipment, high reach, overhead crane
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid class B driving license desirable but not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
