Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled A-Level Heavy Truck Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Class 6–8 commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex diagnostics on heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment
Accurately troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, brake, electrical, HVAC, and emission systems
Use OEM diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, Bendix, Eaton, etc.)
Conduct DOT inspections and ensure repairs meet federal and state regulations
Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts using repair order systems
Assist and mentor lower-level technicians as needed
Perform road tests to confirm proper operation of repaired systems
Communicate clearly with service writers and customers regarding issues and repairs
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:
5+ years of heavy-duty truck repair experience required
ASE Certifications or OEM training preferred (Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, etc.)
CDL (Class A or B) preferred or ability to obtain
High School diploma or GED required; Technical school training a plus
Strong computer and diagnostic software proficiency
Must own professional-grade tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
