Bishop McDevitt is in need of motivated, qualified, and energetic individuals for the position of Mathematics teacher. Our students are our greatest treasures and our teachers are amazing professionals who are driven not only to educate but also to act as role models and mentors. A valid 7-12 Math Certification is preferred but not required. Master's Degree in Mathematics is encouraged to apply. All required clearances must be current.
The High School Math Teacher is responsible for fulfilling the mission of Bishop McDevitt High School by equipping minds through engaging, innovative instruction and nurturing hearts by mentoring young people as a leader and role models. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s (required) or master's degree (Preferred) in one of the following disciplines: Mathematics
Pennsylvania Certification is preferred but not required. Willingness to obtain PA teaching certification is strongly encouraged. Bishop McDevitt High School is a Catholic School where teachers are not required to be Catholic, however, must adhere to Catholic Identity and Values in their professional role as a teacher with Bishop McDevitt High School.
