The Puyallup Open Doors program is seeking an enthusiastic and vibrant ELA and History teacher. This program is the most unique in the school district, offering personalized academic support to students as they work toward earning their high school diploma or GED. In this role, the teacher will focus on helping students meet all ELA and Social Studies requirements. Teachers support students in earning credit through two main avenues: a program called Edmentum, which provides digital curriculum that students can access both during and outside of school hours, and through the design and implementation of Mastery-Based Projects. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and can create individualized academic plans to help each student succeed.
