RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and implements educational curriculum for children ages 2-3 which reflects developmental, cultural, and linguistic appropriateness.
- Creates a fun, nurturing learning environment, where children can explore their ideas and develop new versions of themselves.
- Creates developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on the curriculum given.
- Always has a positive attitude with children, parents and staff.
- Ensures compliance with applicable company policies and procedures and any of the following program regulations as they apply to the specific program assigned: Title 22 Community Care Licensing regulations.
- Ensures proper care and supervision for each and every child at all times and adheres to the standards of conduct.
REQUIREMENTS
- BA or AA Degree in Child Development from an accredited college or university OR
- A Child Development Teacher Permit or higher OR
- 12 units of Child Development course work
- Early Childhood Education Teacher DEMONSTRATION
- Early Childhood Education Interview
- Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED (Online courses do not qualify)
- Live Scan
