The Mortgage Prospecting Specialist is responsible for completing various tasks which creates efficiencies for the sales team. Specialists must be equipped to handle outbound/inbounds calls with general customer objections and answer basic questions. Responsible for meeting set standards within the call center environment. Specialists will be responsible for their individual objectives as well as the overall team objectives that have been set by the manager. Specialists are responsible for keeping up to date on all new products and services available within the mortgage department.
Specialists are required to attend regulatory training sessions and maintain an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all legal, compliance and regulatory issues as they relate to mortgage lending issues in a multi-state servicing environment.
Qualifications
- BA /BS degree preferred.
- 1 years of sales experience in financial services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and successfully in a team environment.
- Experience working in a call center environment.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to readily adapt to changes in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be receptive to all feedback pertaining to individual and team performance and measurements.
- Superior organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in fast environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills essential
- Capable of delivering results within specified timeframe
- Proficient PC skills, including MS Office experience.
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday-Friday
