Job Summary
We are seeking *independent contractors* for our wellness center, specifically holistic practitioners such as bodyworkers, health coaches, yoga teachers, mind/body/spirit focused professionals. You will make your own hours (weekends are preferred!) and have full physical access to our wellness center. By setting your own schedule, you may work as little or as much as you would like. You will receive compensation pay, meaning in exchange for becoming a part of our team and utilizing our space and all its benefits, we require a 70/30 split of all financial transactions. That 30% will be sent back to the center, with you keeping the other 70%. This price is negotiable, as well as other aspects of your contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, focusing on balancing all aspects of wellness, such as pain management, relaxation, and overall healing. This role requires a strong understanding of your field and the ability to work mostly independently. The practitioner or therapist will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the health and well-being of our clients through personalized treatment plans or through hosting workshops.
Duties
-Must maintain personal insurance and all licenses
-Must be willing to put in the marketing work to find your own clientele. You will have full access to our social media pages and website for promotion. Our collaboraters also promote each other via word of mouth. But the bulk of finding your own clients will be on you. The work you put into it will affect how much money you make. This is essentially an opportunity to start your own business without having to finance your own space.
-Duties for massage therapists, acupuncturists, reiki practitioner, etc:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
- Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution. Or if you are a different holistic practitioner, whatever your field requires. You must be fully legal and legitimate.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform therapeutic techniques effectively.
- Strong assessment skills to evaluate client needs accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Excellent communication skills. This is a collaborative environment and community space, you must work with both our team as well as your clientele.
