Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care for individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. As an In Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure clients adhere to their medication schedules.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises to enhance their physical health.
- Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to assist those experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to create personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid is a plus; certification may be required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences of clients.
- Experience in memory care or group home settings is advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between client homes if necessary.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
