Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for those with varying needs, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Support clients in participating in community activities or appointments as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health, nursing home settings, or hospice care is preferred.
- Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking for diverse dietary needs.
- Knowledge of senior care practices and the ability to assist individuals with disabilities effectively.
- Familiarity with monitoring vital signs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on client needs, including evenings or weekends if necessary.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
