Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Maintain a regular caseload and deliver professional, culturally relevant support, advocacy, information, and referrals to program participants.
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning in collaboration with your assigned caseload.
- Regularly meet with each client and provide Medi-Cal billable mental health services, including assessment, rehabilitation skills building, diagnosis, referral, consultation, brokerage, counseling, and crisis management.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of care plans, client interactions, progress toward goals, and exit plans using the Avatar electronic charting and billing system.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in social work or a related field is required, along with Board of Behavioral Sciences registration/licensure (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
- 1 + years of experience providing therapy
- A strong commitment to and knowledge of harm reduction practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
