QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelors degree or a professional degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two to three years of professional sales experience in hospice, home health or healthcare sales is required.
- A minimum of two years of college or secondary education required.
- Excellent communication skills, observation skills, and public relations skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- A valid driver’s license and a working automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and is in good working order.
MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate appropriate referrals to Golden Rule Hospice from current and new customers within territory.
- Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with all referral sources, including physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health companies, and hospitals.
- Ensure daily marketing targets are met.
- Ensure weekly admission targets are met.
- Work with Administration to continually think of creative ways to increase referrals and admissions.
- Participates in professional organizations in the community.
- Implement and maintain good ‘sales habits’, including efficient time and territory management.
- Become familiar with the Medicare hospice benefit.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive team, patient, and referral information.
- Provide educational in–services to accounts on a regular basis.
- Provide required reports in a timely manner
