We are a new restaurant located in the epicenter of Uptown Charlotte. We are a fine dining restaurant that specializes and focuses on Seafood.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, hotel, or food service and possess excellent communication skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism
- Utilize POS system for order entry and processing
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Support guest relations by providing assistance as needed
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling reservations efficiently
