Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, W-2)

What You’ll Do
Day-to-day hands-on upkeep across a portfolio of furnished homes and small multifamily rentals:
- Perform light plumbing fixes (faucets, toilet kits, garbage disposals)
- Replace locks, door hardware, smoke-detector batteries, and light fixtures
- Patch drywall, touch-up paint, and hang shelving/artwork
- Seasonal landscaping, snow/ice mitigation, and curb-appeal tasks
- Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and coordinate with licensed vendors as needed
- Respond to guest-reported maintenance tickets and document work in our mobile app
- Stock maintenance vehicle, track parts inventory, and keep receipts organized
- Communicate daily with the operations team on task status; close out tickets only when work is complete and photos uploaded
- Rotate into an emergency on-call calendar (paid) for critical after-hours issues
Must-Haves
- 1–2 yrs minimum general maintenance, handyman, or unit-turn experience (3–5 yrs preferred)
- Comfort and ability to communicate professionally with our guests
- Valid Ohio driver’s license, clean driving record, and comfort driving a company vehicle
- Pass background check; authorized to work in the U.S.
- Lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work indoors/outdoors in all seasons
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting knowledge,
- Familiarity with Breezeway, or similar maintenance platforms
Compensation & Perks
- Hourly pay $23–$27, DOE (45-hr+ weeks paid at 1.5×)
- Company vehicle + fuel card for business use

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
