As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests during peak hours. Pay: $15.00/hrResponsibilities
- Guest Reception:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Manage the waitlist efficiently and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Reservation Management:
- Receive and confirm reservations, ensuring accurate recording of guest information.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to optimize table turnover.
- Seating Arrangements:
- Organize and optimize seating arrangements to accommodate guests and maximize restaurant capacity.
- Balance the distribution of guests among different sections or servers.
- Communication Hub:
- Serve as a communication hub between guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Relay important information such as special requests, allergies, or celebrations.
- Maintaining Lobby Area:
- Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor and manage the waiting area to ensure a comfortable experience for guests.
- Assisting Servers and Staff:
- Support servers with any seating-related information or adjustments.
- Assist in coordinating special events or large party reservations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Guest-focused mindset with a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
