Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of Liberty & Main! As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk through our doors
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries, reservations, & takeout orders.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area & restrooms
- Utilize Opentable & Aloha POS system for managing reservations, & takeout orders.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Familiarity with guest relations practices in a restaurant or hotel environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
