Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for hospitality, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to ensure efficient flow within the restaurant.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
• Offer assistance with any inquiries regarding food and beverage options.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or services offered.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of menu items and dining etiquette.
• Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette, capable of handling calls professionally while multitasking in a busy environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
