- Greeting Guests: Providing a warm and welcoming greeting to all guests upon arrival.
- Managing Reservations: Handling online, phone, and in-person reservations, and managing waitlists.
- Seating Guests: Guiding guests to their designated tables, ensuring even workload for wait staff.
- Providing Information: Giving accurate wait times, answering questions about the menu, and assisting with special requests.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the front-of-house area tidy and welcoming.
- Assisting with Side Work: Helping with tasks like cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware.
- Collaborating with Staff: Working effectively with servers, bussers, and other team members.
- Bussing and Reseting Tables: Helping the servers clear and reset tables.
- Operating Point-of-Sale Systems: Using POS systems for reservations, seating, and other front-of-house operations.
