Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest relations and overall dining experience.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service is required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with Restaurant Connect or systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage seating arrangements efficiently.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented setting.
