We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for our restaurant, making each guest feel valued and appreciated.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host area.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professionalism when handling reservations or inquiries.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
