We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent guest service skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff. As a Host/Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during peak times.
- Communicate effectively with the wait staff and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the menu, reservations, and special events.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional guest relations and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Yelp reservation systems, is desirable but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
