The Chocolate Maven Bakery and Café is looking for an energetic, friendly, outgoing, host/hostess for our new UNIT B dining and entertainment venue. Responsibilities include organizing seating charts, greeting incoming patrons, resetting tables to accommodate parties of various sizes. Excellent communication , quickness of action, cheerfulness, warmth and great customer service combined with attention to detail are required of this position.
SCHEDULE: The ability to maintain a steady weekly schedule is an important aspect of being on our team.
- Weekly shifts are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Occasional shifts may also occur on Sunday afternoons or Wednesday evenings.
Responsibilities
- Organize reservations
- Create, maintain and adapt and seating charts
- Greet customers with style and warmth
- Lead guests to tables
- Ensure guest comfort
- Address concerns with seating or reservations
- Help with tickets
- Help clean and reset the dining room at end of service
Skills
- Ability to create and maintain and adapt seating assignments
- Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional in a fast-paced, multitasked environment
- Style, communication skills, and demeanor to great and converse with guests.
Compensation is a combination of wage plus tips, and the hourly noted is typical of this position.
