Late August is a Michelin recommended restaurant in the ION Center, which specializes in well-refined Afro-Mexican cuisine with infusions of international techniques and flavors.
We are looking for an experienced and professional Host/Host to join our team at an upscale casual restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong understanding of the finer points of fine dining. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the restaurant industry and grow with our team.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily evening shifts (4:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Answer phone calls and take reservations.
- Assign seating arrangements for guests.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and specials of the day.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Ensure that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
