At Hellas, our Host(ess) are the first impression and the heartbeat of our guest experience. This role is vital in setting a warm, welcoming, and professional tone from the moment guests walk in the door. As the central point of coordination, you’ll manage reservations, organize seating flow, and support smooth communication between the front and back of house. Success in this position means balancing hospitality with efficiency, using table management systems, multitasking gracefully under pressure, and ensuring every guest starts their dining experience with exceptional service and care.

What You will Do:
- Greet all guests warmly, confidently, and professionally as they arrive
- Strategically manage guest seating and reservations using our table management system (Seven Rooms).
- Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure the host stand, entrance, and lobby are clean, orderly, and welcoming.
- Resolve concerns with confidence, empathy, and a team-first mindset.
- Jump in where needed, from checkouts to FOH support, because you lead by example.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all teams to support the flow of the restaurant.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience hosting in a high-volume restaurant.
- Well acquainted with guest seating platforms (Seven Rooms preferred).
- Confident and professional communicator in person and over the phone.
- Calm under pressure, clear under stress, and never forget the guest in front of you.
- Must be 18+ and able to obtain Food Safety Certification within 60 days.
- Professional appearance and pride in presence; you set the tone.
