Job Summary:
As a Host at Joey B's on the Hill, your primary responsibilities will be to greet guests, manage reservations/waitlist, answer phones, along with some light cleaning & stocking.
Duties:
- Order phones as needed and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Manage walk in tables, reservations and seat according to flow of restaurant
- Communicating guest needs with management or service staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at all times. Very high attention to detail needed.
- Light prep & stocking duties on top of day & night closing/cleaning duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, and third party seating/reservation systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and co-workers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent phone etiquette and attention to detail
- Willingness to help out in various tasks as needed to support the team
Hours:
- Mix of weekday lunch and weekend dinner shifts. Full or part time available
- 4-6 hour shifts. No early mornings or late nights.
