Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, sitting customers, packaging food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
-Package items and charge them accordingly
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests (for to go only)
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change (for to go only)
- Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness of Host stand and work areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Strong cash handling skills
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is an advantage
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
