Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent guest services will be essential in maintaining our high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Take and process orders accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining spaces.
Skills
- Guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food service practices and phone etiquette is advantageous.
