Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting the front-of-house team, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the host area. This is a hands-on role that includes food running, drink preparation, and daily cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed
- Take orders accurately and efficiently when required
- Prepare and refill tea and lemonade according to set recipes
- Run food and beverages to tables promptly and professionally
- Refill the water station throughout the shift
- Complete daily cleaning checklist for the host area and other assigned sections
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host station
- Communicate clearly with team members and support overall restaurant operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a customer service or restaurant role preferred but not required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to follow instructions and standard procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
