Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage reservations, greet customers, and handle cash transactions while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be key to creating a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and taking reservations.
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area and dining space.
- Provide support during busy periods by assisting servers as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
