Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns or complaints promptly
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Familiarity with TOAST POS system or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests and build positive guest relations
