Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Answer phone and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, including supporting fellow team members during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to help create a positive guest experience through attentive service and guest relations.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices and customer service principles.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
