We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize bathrooms to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and housekeeping management to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Assist with floor care tasks including mopping, waxing, and buffing as required.
- Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good working order and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Uphold the highest standards of custodial practices while working efficiently to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.
