Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Change linens and make beds according to hotel standards.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors in public areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure efficiency and quality of service.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during their stay.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care practices and products used in hospitality settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel premises.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
