Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks as needed.
- Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds).
- A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and team members.
