Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to meet hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a clean environment.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, and polishing as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices and hospitality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff.
