Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Conduct thorough floor care, including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing as needed.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining various types of surfaces and materials.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to develop efficient cleaning schedules.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and other staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards is beneficial, particularly in hotel settings.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
