Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, or industrial facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality service and ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests or residents.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping operations efficiently to ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care including sweeping, and edging.
- Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; restock as necessary.
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning when required in specific environments.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by ensuring guest areas are tidy and welcoming.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
