JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain and cleans hospital areas to assure the complex building areas are maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Patients of all ages served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principals when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED High school preferred; must be able to read and write English. Must have basic math knowledge and able to follow instructions.
- Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning agents including, but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers, vacuums, trash compactor and bailer. 30 Days
- Ability to endure physical requirements of position and hours of work. Upon Hire
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Upon Hire
- Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning agents, and be alert to potential hazards. Upon Hire
- Ability to work independently and as a team to complete assigned tasks. Upon Hire
- Ability to complete mandatory education requirements and follow policies and procedures. Upon Hire
- Ability to know, understand, and follow safe working practices at all times. Upon Hire
