We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to provide cleaning assistance to a man in his apartment. The Housekeeper will play an important role in keeping the living environment both clean and safe for the client and will be responsible for tasks like cleaning the client’s common living areas and organizing the apartment to reduce any hazards. The client prefers to have cleaning/organizing weekly on Mondays after 11am. Wage: $15 to $18 per hour
Skills:
Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for clients.
· Experience or training in human services is highly desirable.
· Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients’ needs.
· Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities, fostering independence while providing necessary support.
· Excellent communication skills
