WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Housekeeping position is a key part of Daireds as they are responsible for laundering linens and maintaining cleanliness of facility. This position is perfect for those who can:
- Maintain the general cleaning and up-keep of the facilities including public areas, restrooms, and break rooms
- Launder robes, towels, and linens
- Take trash out throughout the day as needed to keep work area and hallways clear
- Stocks housekeeping supply closet with paper goods, trash liners, etc.
- Maintains orderly condition of assigned work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE NEEDED?
The following qualifications are essential for this position:
- Able to stand and walk for a 6–8 hour shift
- Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to follow instructions in use of cleaning solutions
- Able to use equipment including, but not limited to: washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, wet/dry vac, mop, ladder
- Maintains regular attendance
- High standards of cleanliness
- An eye for detail
- Able to work weekends
