Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our hotel ensuring a welcoming environment for guests by following Hilton brand standards. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of hospitality standards.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all spaces meet high cleanliness standards.
- Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping supervisor to implement efficient procedures.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor suitable for a hospitality environment.
