Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and hospitality environments. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, and other public areas as required.
- Ensure proper floor care through sweeping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Skills
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Strong background in hospitality or customer service to enhance guest experiences.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results consistently.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures is advantageous but not required.
