Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is crucial in upholding the standards of our establishment and providing exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Change linens and replenish supplies as necessary to ensure guest comfort.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens are cleaned and stored properly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guests.
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Experience in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Custodial experience that demonstrates an understanding of proper cleaning methods and equipment usage.
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
