Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including guest rooms, communal areas, and restrooms.
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation as required, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Experience in a hotel setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
