Job Details:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects and properly disposes of trash and waste material from all departments.
- Cleans bathrooms and cafeteria including all fixtures and fittings
- Sweep, Scrub, Mop floors daily, safely operate various floor scrubbing machines
- Distribute supplies to bathrooms.
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Focus on planning and organizing the cleaning schedule through day, reduce impact on team members break schedules.
- Performs related cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Housekeeping & Equipment use preferred, but not required.
- Can utilize or be trained to use equipment (Floor Care Equipment, Buffer’s. Strippers) safely operate various floor scrubbing machines.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Be a self-starter, work independently or in a team, safety oriented
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials, working knowledge and operating cleaning equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The associate frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May frequently be required to lift a maximum weight of 50 pounds at waist level and 50 pounds from floor to waist and push/pull 100 lbs.
- Adheres to department/company safety procedure guidelines.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends.
