We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeping and laundry specialist to join our team. As a housekeeping and laundry specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are tidy and presentable.
- Laundry tasks such as: washing bedding, towels and other items necessary for the rooms; fold and organize materials.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing Guest Rooms
- Cleaning and Sanitizing Common Areas (pool, courtyard, entrance)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (Preferred but not required)
- Have reliable transportation
