Housekeeping and Laundry Worker Wanted

Job Summary
We are seeking an honest, reliable, trustworthy person to help with in-home laundry and light housekeeping needs.

The schedule is flexible as to days and times, as long as the weekly laundry gets washed, dried, and put away.

Laundry is the primary need, but for the right person, the number of hours could grow into more daily housekeeping, household management, errand running, perhaps even cooking or child care.

Duties

• Keep laundry pile "at zero" - wash dry fold and put away clothes.
• Use time wisely - if clothes are drying, find opportunities to straighten and tidy house.
• Take initiative to identify DRY CLEAN ONLY items, and manage taking items to and from the dry cleaning.
• Keep track of when new supplies are needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services s preferred.
• Familiarity with laundering techniques, including knowledge of fabric care labels and appropriate cleaning methods for various materials.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with out family.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
